Happy Thanksgiving!! And Some Blog Candy!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! I hope you have a great day with your family and friends. Here is something I am extremely greatful for. I got this super cute surprise in the mail yesterday from my friend Michelle. She knows that my favorite color is green so she used this DSP. I was so sad that SU! retired Wild Wasabi, but I am happy that they replaced it with Kiwi Kiss. The funny thing is that I just made this matching shopping list the day before I received this RAK. I wanted to make this stationary set but it looked too hard to make so I never got to making it. lol!
This cute little tin has chocolate in it and a cute little Hello Kitty pin. And I absolutely lovvvve this cell phone charm. Isn't it soooo cute! =) Thank you so much Michelle...You made my day!
Head on over to my friend Joy's blog... She just made a 1,000 hits and is giving away really really good blog candy!!! Also go and check out her on-line store at Tamiko's. Thanks so much for stopping by! =)

My First ATC and the Blog Candy Winner!

Happy Humpday Stampers! Here is my First ATC Card... I created this card based on this challenge at the Pink Poison blog. ATC cards are usually are 2 1/2" by 3 1/2" but it was switched to 3 1/2" by 5 1/5". The challenge required you to use an Anya stamp.. I really couldn't decided on which Anya to use but then I came up with Mermaid Anya. I got stuck on using this color combo from the other day because I wanted to use this sheet of the DWCV Glitter Sweet Paper. I embossed it with the D'vine Folder. I used the ribbon, bling, and Liquid Pearls from Taylored Expressions.com.Thank you, Thank you to all of you that entered for my blog candy give away!! =) Thank you for letting me know what you would like to see more of on my blog and what your favorite technique is! Most of you like to emboss too! And a lot of you like to use Copics as well. And the winnder is..............

Get Well Wishes for Teri

ETA: I added the demensions for the bag.

Hi Stamp Friends! Hope you all had a great weekend! Here is a little get well kit for Teri since she has been under the weather. The weather here has been very very bad with the vog and everything.. Since there is a storm passing it has been really muggy and hot! Yuck! So anyway, I seen this really cute get well kit here. I made it a little different and put Hello Kitty on the front. I used this tutorial to create this bag from Chic n' Scratch. I didn't get any bags from Wal Mart so my sweet hubby helped me figure out the demensions on making the one sheet box instead of the bag.

Here are the dimensions to create this little bag… It’s kind of weird dimensions but it came out perfect to fit the front and back panels. This is what my hubby helped me with... The front and back panels (Soft Sky CS and Soft Sky DSP) measure in 3 1/2" x 3 3/8" for the cardstock and 3" x 3 1/8" for the DSP.

1) Start with one piece of paper (printer paper) 8 ½” x 11”
2) Score - width 2 7/16" and 6 1/16"...
3) Score - height 4 7/16" and 6 1/2"...
4) Crease all scored lines. (Just like the one sheet box) Fold to create a diagonal crease on all corners.
5) Adhere the edges down and you are done with your bag!

Punch the top of the panels with the Word Window Punch. Then decorate and adhere the panels to the bag. If you have any questions, you can e-mail me at stampingunderthesun@yahoo.com.

Recipe:
Paper: Soft Sky, Soft Sky DSP, Whisper White CS, Basic Black CS, Barely Banana CS, Regal Rose CS, and Glitter Sweet DWCV Printed Paper
Stamps: Pink Poison Sentiments
Ink: Basic Black Classic Stampin' Pad
Accessories: Regal Rose Grosgrain Ribbon, Silver Cord, Stickles, Pink Bling

Jolie Chocolate Angel Anya

Hi Bloggin' Friends! I hope you had a great day. I saw this Chocolat Collection from SEI at Ben Franklin and I couldn't resist it. I asked my hubby if he could buy it for me. It cost $2.00 a sheet!! There are beautiful butterlies and glitter all over it. You can purchase some of the collection at my friend, Joy's, new on-line store Tamiko's. She has some really cute stuff so go and check it out! =)I created this card using the Pink Poison Angel Anya stamp. I stamped her in VersaFine Onxy Black ink and embossed it with Clear embossing powder. I colored her in with Copics and I paper pieced her dress with the back side of the background paper.. I also paper pieced her hair and wings. I added stickles to her wings and some in her hair. I used the largest Oval and Scallop Oval Nesties. I added Chocolate Twill ribbon and some pink bling that Joy and Michelle gave me. Don't forget to leave me a comment on my previous post for some blog candy!! Hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by! =)

Hi Everyone! Happy Monday!! I'm excited today is Monday because I didn't get to watch Heroes last week. And ofcourse Samantha Who is on tonight too... So I'm looking forward to watching that tonight.
I just got my Ski Slope DSP the other day and here are some projects that I created over the weekend. This is Angel Anya... I love sparkles so I added stickles to her wings, dress, bow, and halo. I paper pieced her hair and wings. You can't really see it but for the scallop oval, I used the Large Scallop and Large Oval then I used the Swiss Dots folder on the Large Scallop Oval to give it some texture. BTW... My friend Lorna just started her blog so go and check it out. She always inspires me! =) Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great day! =)

Hi Stamper Friends! Hope you are having a great weekend. Here is another Anya by Pink Poison that I created. This is Princess Anya. I lovvve these stamps... So girly!
