Strawberry Shortcake

Happy Hump Day Stampers! I totally felt that it was a pink day today. I wore my pink sweater and pink lipgloss. Hehehe.=) I found Maureen’s (My C.A.S.E. Studies) blog through Teri’s blog and OMG... She has the cutest cards!! I especially {heart} the Pink Poison ones! I was so inspired to create something with my Pink Poison stamps that I finally took it out of the package and inked it up. Hehehe... Did you ever try paper piecing? Ooooh… it takes so long and you have to be soooo patient with your scissors but the outcome is totally worth it! =) Here are two cards that I created using the Cupcake set by Pink Poison… I stamped “Happy Birthday” in Bravo Burgundy on the inside of the cards. Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a great day! =)

Anniversary Cards

Hi Everyone!! Here are the cards I created for my hubby for our anniversary. I saw this cool technique called Glitter Peek-a-Boo Window at Laura Fredrickson’s blog ScrapnExtras. She posted a great tutorial and so I wanted to try it out. I used this super cute Whipper Snapper stamp calledLove Turtles. I bought it from Little C’s and got it 30% off. I added the sentiment from the SU! Short and Sweet Set. I colored the turtles in with SU! Markers and added stickles to it. So for those of you that know me know why I create a purple card and a green card (our favorite colors). I created two cards for my DH’s birthday too. =) I {heart} this kiwi kiss paper. I told him that this is my new fav shade of green. When I showed him the card he said that I should’ve used a heart punch. I said you’re right but I don’t have one. So yesterday when I came home from work he surprised me with a heart punch. He’s the sweetest. =) The next card I created with his favorite color and I added all of my favorite embellishments and techniques. My favorite embellishments are ribbon, Dazzling Diamonds and Bling! And my favorite technique is to emboss so I did that on the inside of the card.
BTW - Did you get to watch Samantha Who? last night? I was bummed I didn’t get to watch the end because our recording stopped. I can’t wait till next Monday already. Do you think that Sam and Todd are going to stay together? Heheheh… And oh, I’m having a good eyeshadow day again…I used MAC Samoa Silk on my eyelids. I blended Handwritten and Espresso on the crease and Shroom on the brow bone. =) I hope you have a great day… Thanks for stopping by! =)

Workshop Projects and an Award

Hi Everyone! I hope you had a great weekend! I did!! On Saturday Lorna had a workshop and Aunty Claudia was the hostess. Aunty Claudia asked me if I wanted to come to her workshop so I created this gift set for her for being the hostess.I brought over my Big Shot and also made some Halloween samples for her too. We created these two beautiful cards and this adorable gift card holder. Aunty Claudia gave me this "Mahalo" card. I’m not sure where she got the stamp from but I like that font. I was so happy I got to stamp that day. I couldn’t stay long because I had dinner reservations at Ruth’s Chris for our anniversary. Besides the steak and mashed potatos we had their bread pudding and ice cream for dessert. Sooooo yummy!! It reminded me of the time when I used to come home from college and my Dad would bake bread pudding for me (My Dad is the Cook/Baker in the family). But anyway…I’m having a good eye shadow day today…. I blended MAC Handwritten and Satin Taupe on the crease and Shroom on the brow bone. I’ve been wearing lots of purple hues and loved how this one went together…If you know of any good combos I would love to know what they are! =) Oh, and don’t forget to watch/record Heroes, Samantha Who?, and the Hills tonight. =) Hope you have a great day… Thanks for stopping by! =)

Hello Kitty Tin and Cards

Happy Aloha Friday Everyone!! Here is a gift set I created for my Sister in Law since she picked up these Hello Kitty dies for me from J's Knicknacks. Thanks Jess! =) I’m lovin’ this Parisian Summer DSP. I created this tin based on the tin we created at Lori and Lorna's Stamp Camp. I embossed the tin with the Eastern Blooms flowers in Silver Embossing Powder. I used Bravo Burgundy and Pink Pirouette Cardstocks for the band and Hello Kitty’s flower. Sorry for the bad pictures!

Here are matching cards that fit in the tin. I CASEd these cards from Joy’s cards she made for Michelle.

I CASEd this goodie bag out of the November issue of Stampin’ Success. I created this goodie bag with a 4 ¼” x 11” piece of Pink Pirouette Cardstock and scored it at 5”, 5 ½”, and 6”. I folded the creases and tied it together with the Bravo Burgundy Grosgrain Ribbon. I also used the corner rounder punch on the top corners of the goodie bag. I think I used the small cello bags for the goodies inside. I hope you have a great Aloha Friday and a great weekend! Thanks for stopping by!

Pink Water Bottle Holder

Hi Everyone!! Yesterday when I came home from work I found this waiting for me. It was our second anniversary. Since our anniversary was on a work day, we will be celebrating it this weekend. If you noticed... the ribbon is orange. My DH said he asked for green ribbon because it's my favorite color but they did not have any so he picked Apollo's favorite color instead. So thats why it is orange. I thought that was funny. I cleared out my stamp table so I could put this beautiful arrangement on it.
Here is something I created for my Mom since this month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I decided to create these because I saw these Pink Crystal Light packages at Wal Mart. Crystal Light partnered with the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and 50 cents will go to the foundation... I used this great video tutorial here at the Chic n' Scratch Stampin' Academy. It is super easy to make. These are the only water bottles I had at home so I had to use the 1 3/8" Circle Punch to create the hanger. The 1 1/4" Circle punch would not fit on the top. I hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by! =)

Happy Halloween!

Hi Everyone!! Happy Monday! I created this card based on Taylor's Cupcake Challenge #38. I created this card using Taylor's Trick or Sweet Set. I finally got some Halloween DSP from SU! I used the paper that says "Yum!" I thought it suited the challenge. I used the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder on Basic Black CS. I added Dazzling Diamonds to the cupcake and Pumpkin Pie Grosgrain Ribbon.... I hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by! =)

More Gift Sets!!

Hi Everyone!! Here are more gift sets that I created. They include one bag that can hold up to 3 cards and envelopes. They are really easy to create. The tutorial can be found here. One Shopping List and one card. The next set consists of the same things. For the purple set, I used all paper, ribbon, and ink from Paper Trey Ink in Plum Pudding and Lavender Moon. The Blue set is all by Stampin' Up! except for the Aqua Mist Double Stitched Ribbon by PTI on the card.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!! =)

Parisian Summer Gift Set

Hi Everyone! I hope you are having a great weekend. Yesterday Sports Authority opened up in our little town here. Yay!! After work my DH and I hurried over there to check it out and my DH bought our Son this Jr. Golfer 3-5 y/o set. He was sooooo happy to get his first set of clubs. Now he can go golfing with his Papa. =)

I CASEd this card here by Dawn McVey. I loved the sketch and so I had to try it out. I used the Label Classics and Best Yet Stamps sets instead. I used SU! Pink Pirouette Cardstock on this card with the Parisian Summer DSP. I topped it off with PTI Sweet Blush Double Stitched Ribbon.
Here is another gift card holder I created with the Eastern Blooms Set.
Here is a matching Hello Kitty bag.And a matching altered Shopping List I learned how to create at my upline Lori and Lorna's Stamp Camp.
I hope you have a great day..Thanks for stopping and I will post more gift sets tomorrow! =)

Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, I decided to create this "Pink" card. I'm going to create more "Pink" cards and sell them. As some of you know, my Aunty recently passed away from Breast Cancer so 20% of the proceeds will go to her memorial fund.

Here is a card I created for one of my customers that recently bought this set.
