Sweet Thing

Yesterday was the BIG day! The new Stampin’ Up! Catalog came out. However, I still didn’t receive mine in the mail yet. :( I am SO bummed. I tried looking it up on the internet but it doesn’t want to open. I guess I’ll just have to be a little more patient... Tell me what is your favorite stamp set or which set out of the new catalog is on your wish list? :)

Anyway, here is a card I created for Taylor’s Cupcake Challenge #28. I used my Unity Stamp Co. Cupcakes Ala Yummy! Doesn’t it sound yummy? I used Paper Trey Ink Card Stock and Printed Paper. I love how SU! Riding Hood Red coordinates with the Aqua Mist and Dark Chocolate. Then I added a ½” strip of American Crafts Ala Mode Printed Paper to the center strip. I thought it matched perfectly! To make the cupcakes I stamped each cupcake 3 times. One on Vanilla, one on Riding Hood Red, and one on Aqua Mist Card Stock. Then I cut each one out. The red was probably the hardest and the tiniest. I used Stampin’ Demensionals for the top part of the cupcake and sprinkled it with Dazzling Diamonds. Hope you all have a great day! OMG! I'm not sure if I made it in time for the round up on Kristina's Color Inspiration #18.. These colors were based on this photo from Crate & Barrel. I {heart} these bright colors. They remind me of the 80's Rockstar Style. I usually don't create black cards, but I just love how it matched with the green. Here is what I came up with.TFL!
